By 1992, the company had acquired Arctic Alaska Fisheries Corporation and Louis Kemp Seafood Company to diversify its operations in seafood. In mid-2001, Tyson acquired IBP, world’s largest beef processor, transforming the company into the largest diversified meat company in the world.
